Etap Jenes participating in LEAF Festival

LEAF International and Project Haiti are working together to bring a group of 11 Haitian students to perform at the LEAF Festival in North Carolina in May 2014.

LEAF International, Prosjekt Haiti and Boukman Eksperyans have worked together since February 2013 to launch the Leaf International Haiti program. Twice a week, members of Boukman Eksperyans give drum and dance lessons to members of the youth club Etap Jenes. On the planned trip to the LEAF Festival these students will become performing artists, experience new cultures, and have exchanges with North Carolinian youth at a local school.
